The History of CONSALD, PL480, and Collaborative Collection Development
Journals Subcommittee
In the mid-2010s, the Journals Subcommittee was formed under the leadership of Aruna Magier, and then continued under Gary Hausman until 2022. Other members included Jeff Martin, Zoë McLaughlin, and Jef Pierce. The major charges of the subcommittee were 1. to work closely with JSTOR to get more titles in their resource, 2. to liaise with the Bibliography of Asian studies in an advisory capacity, 3. to Coordinate SALToC and identify journals for inclusion, and 4. to explore open access models.
